Some of our Services and Programs

School Program
Accredited with the Los Angeles Unified School District, LARMH’s School Program brings the classroom to children receiving treatment and their siblings. The School Program works to maintain children’s education without the burden of transportation issues and exposure to outside germs that could pose a serious health risk to children receiving treatment.
.

Transportation
LARMH operates two vans to assist families with transportation to area medical facilities, errands and recreational outings. The assistance of on-staff drivers familiar with the Los Angeles area offers comforting, cost and time saving service to LARMH families.

Jeffrey Katz Bone Marrow Transplant Fund for Children
Established in 1988, the Jeffrey Katz Bone Marrow Transplant Fund for Children honors the memory of 17 year-old Jeffrey Katz who lost his long battle with leukemia. The Jeffrey Katz fund serves the bone marrow transplant families of the Ronald McDonald House by providing aid and important referral information. Since the Fund’s inception in 1988, many children have received financial assistance with their medical expenses plus advocate services in which reduced fees for medical supplies are negotiated on behalf of the receiving family.
